The time for implementation of the federal Real ID Act is quickly approaching – starting on October 1, 2020 travelers who use a state-issued driver’s license at Transportation Security Administration (TSA) airport checkpoints must be Real ID-compliant, which is designated by a star in a circle in the upper right corner of the license. Horizon Vacations recommends checking your driver's license TODAY to make sure your identification is compliant. If it is not, you need to renew the ID as soon as possible to avoid disruption in your travel plans. Travel insurance does not cover denied boarding situations due to lack of correct documentation/expired ID/invalid passport, etc. For more information, visit https://www.dhs.gov/real-id Share the knowledge |
